Karen (mom) is a native of East Tennessee and works as a bankruptcy paralegal. In her spare time, she loves to watch anything on the Food Network, and appreciates a good book, a good documentary, or a scary movie right before bed. As an avid fan of the shows “The Office” and “Schitt’s Creek”, she frequently quotes both shows, whether those around her get the reference or not.
Alex (daughter) was born in Upstate New York and has lived most of her life in East Tennessee. She is a licensed Esthetician, and graduated from the Douglas J. Aveda Institute in Knoxville in the Summer of 2019. Alex is the great mind behind our line of skin care. She has a passion for wanting to make people look and feel great. And, like her mother, frequently quotes from “The Office” and “Schitt’s Creek”, and speaks fluent sarcasm.
Both of us want our brand to encourage you to believe in how beautiful you are in the skin you have. We both believe that beauty comes from the inside out. Our products have been chosen carefully so you can have “you” time at least for a few minutes each day, to nourish your skin, your senses and your spirit!
This is Annie - our mascot.
Annie is an important part of our team. She is the comic relief in stressful moments. She reminds us daily that she rules the house, and we are just her humans who buy her snacks. She was adopted as a puppy from the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley in January 2017, and every day is a pretty great day with Annie around.
